How to Edit Options for Stories​

Once within the “story editor” screen of an article you can edit the story:​

• Edit the Title: Add title.​
• Edit Section of Story: Set story under new section (or if want new section > please check add new section)​
• Edit Template of story: Only if another template is available, applies on story​
• Edit Strapline: Add header, very top of article, 200 max character limit.​
• Edit Introduction: Add Intro.​
• Edit Body: Using the Formatting Toolbar. ​
  • Paragraphs: via  icon, create text with different text hierarchies > used to manage and apply paragraph-level formatting​
  • Option to use Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough​
  • Insert/Edit Link:  icon used for email or URL, option to also remove​
  • Subscript:  icon used to lower selected text or numbers slightly below the baseline, displaying them in a smaller font size​
  • Superscript:  icon used to raise selected text or numbers slightly above the baseline, displaying them in a smaller font size​
  • Option to use bullet list or number list: It can be a highlighted excerpt or phrase from the text.​
  • Option to undo or redo changes​ 
  • Insert Image > Select Insert Image Icon  , to then Drag/Drop or ”choose file” to display in the story body​
    • Can only insert one image at a time, limit of 3000 pixels, 20 mb max file size​
    • Images included in body show up at the bottom of the story editor along with several options: ​
    • Click on the  icon found on the image in order change/add the name of the image or add an image caption and credit.​
    • Option to “Manually select a default image” > Select “Default” on image, to choose as default if multiple images in story body.​

• Sidebar:  icon, offering text, image, or layout formatting options, , a highlighted excerpt or phrase from the text.​
• Pullquote:  icon used to style a pull quote. It can be a highlighted excerpt or phrase from the text.​
• Insert iFrame:  icon used to insert video like YouTube, Vimeo, SoundCloud, Instagram etc. ​
• Insert literal text:  icon used to format text as literal or plain text (can be applied via custom template as well). ​
• Insert special characters:  icon used to insert special characters.​
• Toggle Spellcheck: spellcheck of body text (Currently only in English).​

• Edit HTML:   icon used to add/edit code in body.

  To save any changes made in the “story editor”:​

  Click on the “Save” button found at the bottom of the screen.

  To revert any changes made in the “story editor”:​

  Click on the “Discard” button found at the bottom of the screen.

   

  ​The “Delete Story” button will remove this story permanently.
